My intention is not at all to demean the folks at google who came up with this ingenious design of Google Cardboard in fact i’m writing this post for just the opposite. Steve jobs believed in philosophy of best design is minimal design, this may really be the case with the Cardboard, it is minimal and simple. It gives a nostalgia of creating something with your own hands, pushing out the slots, at times trying to force your way through to get that final piece of cardboard at right place.  One great thing about it is that you feels its your won creation, like a child who builds a castle with lego and declare himself the knight and the guardian of the castle. You will have the same feeling with that piece of cardboard, at least I had as it was my creation, and your excited tech savvy soul will not be able to wait to test it out.

How to unwrap it?

Testing, testing 1, 2, 3…

Take your mobile phone, open YouTube, put any 360 degree video in VR mode, insert it inside the Cardboard, close down the flap and hold it tight with velcros. There you go, you have finally entered in a virtual realm. Easier than you would have thought, right?
